Your Guide To The Big Island

Gather’s luxury vacation rentals across the Big Island place you on the most geographically diverse island in the Pacific, spanning 11 of the world's 13 climate zones. On any given day you could stretch out on a white sand, green sand, or black sand beach, swim above manta rays, stand at the edge of an active volcano, or watch the sunset from a summit above the clouds. The only question is where to start.

I'm a golfer personally, so I always recommend to go hit the different golf courses around the island. Kona Country Club is one of the best ones on the map. A lot of golfers have never hit on courses that have lava right in the rough, so that's a new thing for a lot of our guests.
