A dining table sits under the roofline, edged by tropical plants and beach stone, and a smaller round table stands out under the palms. Kona faces west, so on clear evenings the sun goes down over open ocean straight in front of the table. The shoreline is a short walk down the path from the lanai, where the sand gives way to rock and water. The Upper Lanai Upstairs, the primary suite has a covered lanai of its own, with lounge chairs facing the Kona coastline. A desk in the same suite gives remote workers a place to set up a laptop. Living & Dining Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors open the living room onto the lanai, and with the glass pulled back behind the screens, salt air moves in across the sectional.
