Overview
Haena Beach House TVNC#1258 is a private beachfront retreat on Kauai’s North Shore, offering contemporary comfort, cinematic ocean views, and direct access to one of the most breathtaking stretches of coastline on the island. Set steps from the sand in Haena, this expansive five-bedroom home blends refined interiors with warm, barefoot-luxury living. Every room frames the Pacific, creating a true sense of place from sunrise to sunset.
Property Highlights
- Panoramic ocean views from nearly every room
- Five ensuite bedrooms, ideal for families and groups
- Multiple oceanfront lanais for dining, lounging, and sunbathing
- Gourmet kitchen with modern finishes and spacious dining for ten
- Two upper-level suites with lounge areas and wet bars
- Beachfront location just minutes from Tunnels Beach and the Kalalau Trail
- Ocean Conditions Notice: This home is located on Kauai’s North Shore, where ocean conditions vary by season. During the winter months (typically November–March), the ocean can be loud, powerful, and unforgiving, with strong waves and currents. The water directly in front of the property is not swimmable at this time and should be enjoyed from a safe distance. Guests wishing to swim should visit other designated beaches on the island, depending on daily conditions and local advisories.
Kauai’s North Shore turns wild and green just past Hanalei, where the road narrows and the mountains lean in close to the sea. Haena Beach House TVNC#1258 sits right where that coastline meets the sand, a five-bedroom home where floor-to-ceiling glass frames the Pacific from nearly every room.
What You'll Love About Haena Beach House TVNC#1258
• Sleeps 10 across five ensuite bedrooms and a bonus loft
• Panoramic Pacific views fill nearly every window, upstairs and down
• Two upper-level suites
• A gourmet kitchen built for feeding ten, from sunrise espresso to evening dinners
• Two of the king suites open straight onto the wraparound deck through private entrances
• Winters bring bigger surf to this stretch of coast, so the water in front of the home is best enjoyed from the shore or one of the two oceanfront lanais during this time of year.
Ocean Conditions & Safety
The North Shore's beauty comes with real respect for the water. Kauai's winter swells, typically November through March, bring a stretch of ocean directly in front of the home that turns loud, powerful, and unforgiving, not safe for swimming at that time. Guests wanting to swim during these months should check daily conditions and head to one of the island's protected beaches instead. Calmer months bring gentler water, though conditions can still shift day to day.
Living & Dining
Inside, floor-to-ceiling windows wrap the main living area so the coastline stays in view from the kitchen island to the couch. The lounge opens straight onto the upper lanai, where trade winds move through by mid-morning. Ten can gather at the dining table, the Pacific on one side of the room and Kauai's green ridgeline on the other, a rare pairing this close to the water. The layout suits groups who want room to spread out, with five ensuite bedrooms across two levels.
Chef-Ready Kitchen
The kitchen carries the same energy: designed for effortless cooking and connection, the gourmet kitchen features modern cabinetry, high-end appliances, generous counter space, and all the tools needed for group meals. An espresso machine, rice cooker, blender, and full suite of cookware support everything from your morning coffee to evening feasts.
Lanais & Outdoor Living
Two oceanfront lanais carry the house outside, one set up for dining, the other for lounging through Kauai's long, color-heavy sunsets. A private yard adds room to spread out, and an exercise bike sits ready for anyone who wants a workout with an ocean view. Beach gear is on hand for the days when the water invites you in.

- We loved this property due to its ocean front location. It easily fit our group of 8 and had plenty of room to hang out on the two rainy days we encountered. The house is literally right on the beach. If you like going to sleep with the sound of waves in the background, there's probably no better house in Kauai than this. As accurately represented in the listing, the ocean in front of the house is rough, and mostly not good to swim in. We would ride the short 5 minutes to Tunnels, or 10 minutes to Hanalei Bay beach, our favorite. House had all fixtures and amenities in the kitchen to cook and feed a large group, and was set up with plenty of necessary items like washing soap, garbage bags etc... for at least for the first few days.Scott Jensen
- We had an incredible stay. The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location on Kauai’s North Shore couldn’t have been better—peaceful, beautiful, and just minutes from Hanalei and the incredible snorkeling at Tunnels Beach. The private beach was such a special bonus. We spent our days exploring, relaxing, and soaking in the scenery. We saw sea turtles, multiple rainbows, and enjoyed some of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever visited. Hanalei was a fun town to explore, and Tunnels Beach absolutely lived up to its reputation. If you’re looking for a place to experience the relaxed, natural beauty of Kauai, this is it. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about coming back.Douglas Pearce
- Stunning property! Can’t beat the location or the view. They were very friendly and helpful.Jenna Limbert
