A native of La Jolla and licensed attorney since 1995, Jenn Hegemier launched her own boutique property management company in 2013, curating a portfolio of over 25 of San Diego's most beautiful homes from Encinitas to Coronado. At Gather, she continues doing what she does best: matching the right guest to the right home and making every step of the process seamless for owners and guests alike.
From Appellate Law To Luxury Vacation Rentals
Jenn Hegemier's path to property management runs through courtrooms, appellate chambers, and living rooms around the world. A UC Davis graduate who earned her JD from USD School of Law, Jenn spent years in business litigation, construction defect law, and appellate litigation. She served as Senior Research Attorney in chambers at the Fourth District Court of Appeal, taught as an adjunct professor at Cal Western School of Law, and became a certified mediator. That legal career sharpened skills she uses every day in property management: precision, advocacy, and an instinct for solving problems before they become disputes.
In 2013, Jenn decided to channel her talents in a new direction. Having traveled internationally through home swaps, she understood firsthand what made a vacation home experience truly exceptional. She started by renting her own La Jolla home, quickly gained momentum, and built a boutique management company from the ground up.
Jenn's approach is personal and precise. She focuses on matching the right guest to the right home, giving attentive care to both sides of every stay, and making vacation planning genuinely stress-free from first inquiry to final departure. As a La Jolla native, she brings an authentic love for the region to everything she does.
When she's not working, Jenn enjoys entertaining friends at home, spending time with her husband and family, and playing with her rescue dogs.

The house was amazing. We went on a golf trip to play Torrey Pines. There were 3 couples and everyone had plenty of room to themselves. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need and the communication with the host was so easy. We had no complaints!

Loved the washer/dryer combo! Honestly can’t say enough good things!!

Master bedroom and lowest level bedroom are not enclosed so put your guests in there and keep the room with enclosed walls for yourself.
