Nearby Princeville Center, with groceries and restaurants, is a short drive toward the highway entrance. Anini Beach runs along the reef below the bluff, reached by road through Kalihiwai, and Hanalei Bay is on the far side of town. Homes and resort hotels fill the cliff top here, and most beaches are reached by car or by trail down the bluff. Lihue Airport (LIH) is about 30 miles south.
